Sharing Co, a company specialized in real estate investment and management, has announced the opening of a new coworking center in the center of Malaga, near Larios street. This new project reinforces the company’s growth strategy in the flexible workspace sector, adding to its current offer in Chamberí, Madrid, where it operates a coworking center of 800 square meters.

The future Malaga center, which will be located on Calle Atarazanas, in premises that previously housed a bank, will include various facilities such as terraces, meeting rooms, leisure areas and a fully equipped kitchen.

This space, which has a total of 600 square meters, is in the process of being refurbished to adapt it to the new coworking needs. With an investment of close to 500,000 euros, Sharing Co plans to create a modern and functional work environment with the capacity to accommodate 100 people.

Opening scheduled for November

The new coworking facility is scheduled to open in November 2024. “We are excited to expand our presence in a city that has established itself as an attractive place to live and work,” said Arco Galan, CEO of Sharing Co.

In addition to shared offices, Sharing Co also manages corporate apartments in the same building, aimed at professionals who need medium stays in the city.

According to a recent industry report, Malaga currently leads coworking occupancy statistics in Spain with a rate of 93%, so the timing of this opening is, according to the company, strategic.
